I got where you were coming from.

But I think that sometimes people get caught up in a Clan identity. Confusing the lines between of player and... much in the same way that people do with sports teams.

And that leads people to take things personally, when they were never intended to be... much in the same way that people do with sports teams.

And when the Crab players cheer that their eternal rival can't catch a break, don't be surprised, don't be offended, and don't worry. They're not directed at you. You are not your Clan.

I am glad the people here have something to cheer over.
Some would celebrate having the strongest deck and an excellent number of Tourney wins, but it seems here the preference is to cheer at the misfortune of the faction with the weakest deck and no wins. But, well, whatever floats your boat.
Still, the Godwin back there made me a bit sad.

This being your only post, it's clear you didn't look very far - or else you'd have seen that. I'm sorry that we're not more unhappy for you - but historically, when every Shadowlands win seems to screw our Clan not only in the fluff, but in the game... it's probably for the best. ;)

Deserves repeating, every time someone plays Hotako or a bog hag, an entire family line of Crab is lost on the Wall.

Indeed, brother of Jade.

(I have to admit that I do raise some undead zombies on assignment, in my latest CC incarnation. Nobody sees it, they die too quickly).

Back on track, Boogie speaks da truth.

Mechanical advantage is greater than story consideration.

It is, indeed, why I stopped being a Jade Hand member in Lotus.

Guerilla Tactics and Kyofu.

Don't confuse our whooping over the Spider's failures in the story/tournament season with hating on the Spider players as well. Some of my best friends are Oni players!

I have to respectfully disagree with that thinking. But hey, I get whooped a lot at nerd-cards.

I admit, I did not look far, the main thing that triggered my post was the Godwin/Child Molester post earlier. It also provided me with little incentive to look further; I do not wish to impose by staying where I am not welcome. Regarding the issue with Horde victories leading to disadvantages for the Crab Clan - I am unable to recall any such tourney effects in the recent years - but perhaps this was one of the reasons the Storyteam decided to force the point regarding the Creation of the Spider.

@Kaiu Genji
I am happy to hear that, still it is sometimes easy to mistake one for the other.

I don't think you would be imposing by being here. Some people take fictional rivalries too serious. Be like like a duck. let the water just slide off your back :) .
