Mulligan strategy (conflict deck)

Postby Hidasaurus » Tue Oct 10, 2017 7:20 pm

I would love to get some discussion going on mulligan strategies as I prep for worlds. I am interested in hearing if there are certain cards you dig for in specific matchups. Or do you just have a few you hunt for each game, regardless of matchup? And how aggressive are you in your mulligans? Of course what you get in your dynasty draw plays a role as well, but lets assume an ideal draw. Also, let's just focus on crab and neutral cards as clan splash can be all over the place.

Probably mulligan for Assassinations and 0 cost cards, or Charge. As far as provinces go, you'd like a holding, 2 small people and a 4+ guy. The idea is to always threaten the opponent with a small guy (Envoy/Scout) so that he fears Way of the Crab**, and have a charge ready for your big guy OR your Vanguard Warrior if you have purchased a big guy with 1 fate for instance.

Then it all depends on your splash and your opponent.

**Keep in mind that you can play actions during the Dynasty phase.
Crab Clan * Mojomaker * Tactical Loyalist * Slightly Kolat * Almost Jade Hand * Officially Elite * House Mormont * Dothraki * exp.6
