Just wanted to let you know I won the Melbourne Kotei with Crab HOF Berserkers. I was pleased to bring home a zerker win after winning the Blessings of the Celestial Dragon tournament with Crab scouts in January.. it's been a great run!
This was also the 3rd major in a row for me that Crab placed top 2. 2nd place this event was Yasuki Slug's amazing Honor/dishonor/military/enlightenment CC switch (Mainly Enlightenment wins!) so hopefully he posts that.
I'll post a full tournament report when I get time, but it was a lot of fun to pick the lands, personality and special location. Kuni Shinoda uncovers the Elephant Stables, which in my mind means Kuni Elephant wranglers and Berserkers riding the elephants... should be pretty awesome. All to the sound of "dumbo"'s Pink Elephants... maybe not.
It also extends the long stretch of connected Crab land on the map to almost the coast. Was tempted to take that, hopefully either the Scorpion take it or if they don't another Crab win might lock it in.
Also interesting is the Scorps took the honor event to name the lands, so I'm hoping the Pincer alliance means a "Pincer Footsteps" or something to signify it and the elephant violence about to burst out of the place.
