Proviso: I have never played PbP so i don't know if the following applies.

I think it has to do with the way crab politics are presented storywise we either get to be shown as apathetic brutes or slimeball merchants. Problem being is there is this long standing traditon of the Raikuto family that just got swept under the rug as first edition flavour text that we never get to use.

Half the fun is in violating those perceptions. If this had been in the Empire, I'd have felt obliged to try and get my Kuni Darling in, just for that very reason.

If you truly want your Darling to spend this Winter in the Colonies, I'm sure all it would take is a whisper in the right Scorpion's ear.

(And if you feel that there's a lack of justification for her being there... well, the Scorpion are also very good at providing "justifications". )

Given that the pbp is 6 real months away yet, I imagine the Winter Court depicted above is at least the previous year's.
