Don't underestimate that trait. I personally think its not the best celestial, but that Trait is very strong. In a heavy bow deck, it could be game winning.

With the wording, the question that comes to my mind is: What happen when multiple "negate it's straigthening" effects apply.

Lets say a guy is hit with a bow effect that says "negate it's next straighten it" (such as Yiu, from this arc). Now, if the other player tries to straigthen it up, will the trait on the guidance be used? or since the personality actually won't get to straighten as per the original bow action, it still remains there?

Well the timing for effects goes continuous or blanket effect, then triggered traits then reactions. So lets say something like the Commander action Unexpected Support targets a guy and he tries to straighten. The effect Unexpected Support put in play would hit first and negate it. So when Hida's XP trait would be triggered, he's not straightening anymore and should leave the effect unused until the next time he tries something.

I think the Guidance is quite good in a deck full of bow actions like the berserker deck. Helps Yamadera, Fortitude, Nikaru and anything else you throw in like Entrenched Position stick. Sets up Mimori to knock em out of the park. Could be good in Scouts and Seige, but I expect others will win out. Still, would make Disrupting Communications even that much better or Strategic Sacrifice keeps them down for sure to gain more honor. Jurojin's is still just so strong for scouts (or any deck really) and Ebisu's helps the Seige theme of stupid high province strength honor switch.

I like it a lot. Although I still need to clarify a point, since it seems that I don't understand written English that much:

Does the trait refer to the first time a different personality tries to straighten in a battle? Or it refers to the first time a straighten card tries to straighten a personality.

Example.
Hida A meets Random B and Random C in a battle.

a) Hida A bows Random B
b) Hida A bows Random C.
c) Random B plays Yojimbo's Duty. The guidance denies it.
d) Random C plays Yojimbo Duty. What happens?

I'm guessing he still gets denied

Incorrect. The negation of straightening is once per battle, not once per battle per personality.

Then it needs a better wording.

So far it has confused more than 3 people on a 2 page forum thread.
