Scars of War - Oyo Seido

I just got back after a long break and was facing off Crane dishonour with my scouts

Not sure if anyone asked this before so here you go,

If they target my Oyo Seido with a Scars of War, and I use Oyo Seido to gain honor, does that count towards Oyo Seido restriction of "losing honor from cards you own this game", thus preventing me from further using Oyo Seido during my subsequent turns?

No because the honor loss actually comes from scars of war. Gaining honor with oyo seido just "triggers" Scars of War's ability.
