I believe this can only be used on the shugenja it is attached to.

I almost threw shinoda in the deck just for that spell firing on my berserkers, then I realized the same thing and cried.

When Barswanian comes into play he forgets what he's doing, remove him from the game.
If Barswanian is removed from the game, place him in one of the opponent's provinces face-up. He got lost! If there is another card in the province, discard Barswanian: he forgot what he was doing again.
If Barswanian is in the discard pile, place him on the top of his owner's dynasty deck.
