Now if you want to add some Jank to your deck, what is better than Jekku x 3? Jekku x 6 of course. Ever think of adding the Scorpion Ninja/Courtier to your deck and Sly Deciever, us Scorpions have been doing it to get out multiple Kayemoi's into play.
I got hit a few times with four of that loyal scorpion that can make you lose honor or increase province str by 2. That combo seems to work pretty good, might be a little to slow but if it gets going it does rock you hard. I have been thinking of trying it for Jekku.

Hm, caught unawares, hidden defenses or Heavily Engaged? When it comes to early rush?

Also, dumb question. ^^; Would bad karma work if you were to send them home with Palaces without anyone there?

Bad Kharma is a reaction and reaction does not require presence to play.

On that note, I find Inexorable useful. Your box's ability relies on the movement not being negated more than ever. Getting KnowNo-ed after spending 3 gold is like slapped to the face.

Reaction: After another player with Family Honor of -1 or lower announces an action on a Strategy: He ignores the action's costs. Negate its effects.

Yasuki palace is safe, since it's not a strategy.

Okay played against living opponents, runs really well.

Now just needs tweaking.

Some questions! Why no Ring of Fire or Bad Kharma?

RoF doesn't have an honour loss, doesn't deal with multiple targets, and doesn't make their meta useless.

Standard defence early on, is chump block. Then inflict as much honour loss as possible. Saving province at this point may not be viable. Keep the 1 or 2 guys you defended with their as long as you can to forward your victory condition. Ring of Fire gets rid of one of your guys, which means they don't lose more honour... And the guys you're ideally chumping with (Tono and Dokansuto), aren't exactly gifted in the Chi department.

Bad Kharma is up for consideration. Still tweaking the meta... and trying to get my hands on the rare meta cards that I might end up using.

RoF is invaluable for dealing with big units. Standard defense early on is not chump block. Tono-like people killing Nikaru is an amazing trade. Also every kill has a potential honor loss. Tono is an amazing boxable that kills a good chunk of military people (3c is average).

Standard defense early on is not chump block.

For this build it is.

And the longer my chump is there, the closer I get to winning. At least until I'm down 2 Provinces, then it's time to actively rebuff.
