Berzerkers never going to leave HoF. Josh will just have an excuse to play blank guys, the friend of thunder and Nikaru of course.

You are almost killing things for free. The less force and no attachments isn't really free. I bet Kensai, neo-FT Gozaru lover, HoF, KHexp, Phoenix spell, anyone that plays Nakanu techs can outforce you, out-attach you and then stare at your zerker and say: "What? no delay? Woohooo".

Yeah. Those were my issues playing 7th Tower too back in Samurai Ed. Probably the reason why I never left the safety of Razor of the Dawn Castle throughout that whole arc. Still it was nice to have the offensive capability. I recall many made it work despite the lack of protection of RotD. Perhaps there will be those who can find a way to make this win for us too sans HoF.

7th tower nuked a unit regardless of attachments. However Bishamon nukes a card without attachments. Two very different murders.

A weapon heavy super friends deck would be fun with this stronghold. What's better than a kill action? More kill actions! Just add more Wyrmbone and Splintered Weapon!

It's easier to find delay/kill/negate/redirect/etc, than it is to find recursive personality AND attachment destruction.

It is possible to find negates on certain battle actions, but it's impossible to replicate the effect that HoF has on berserkers. It just cancels the majority of things thrown at them making defense against them almost impossible if you don't have 2-3 actions to hurt them. HoF is berserker's power and I am 100% sure that they would have done nothing good if they didn't have the box.

I tend to agree with this, and don't think HOF is overall bettered by this SH. But, it does give you another option for how you build your zerker deck, and its more flexible for decks that want to splash in non berserkers.

I think I see where Ender is going with this. Get a picture of Bishamons Tower and make a kilt/manskirt print out of it, so it waves around in front of you.

I can see where Josh is going with this also. It's obvious and easy. KILL>>>ALL (the Alpha-male feeling that Crabs need to signal to everyone out there).

The box is crazy good, and it will probably create a new archetype of berserkers. But from my point of view, I would definitely love to see this in the other side of the table than Halls of the Forgotten that can win games even by mistake.

Just to add my 2 cents. I think that Bishamon's tower is just what my bersekers needed. I agree with ender that i can find alot of negation and redirect. For example, we can finally take full advantage of Bakishi reaction, new Nikaru exp, stand as the mountain, etc. As for straight up negation, we have everything from bow to movement negate. its only a matter of time before we get kill negate too. also My favorite card for bersekers is spirit of the berserker so that's like a mini HoF on each zerker against kill.

However this is only one way to build a deck. When i think back to the HoF games i have had, the delay has been epic and it will continue to be a valid play style for zerkers. on the other hand, i welcome a new way to look at bersekers. It will be more like the good old days of CE where i played hero negation. True, i can't delay consistently every battle, but there are times when i can and it counts. It makes me a harder opponent as the enemy cannot predict my actions which was a problem for me playing HoF. Predictable = dead.

I also think that for the deck mechanic, this is a better way to go. we can mix in basically anything we want into the deck break free of any limitations that bersekers may have. even as a pure zerker deck though, this stronghold plays like "your gonna die if you fight me" instead of the HoF "i'm big and blank, try to stop me".
